Meet Skyling, a chattery guide creature updated for the current Growth Patch tool map.
Skyling is a local, browser-only companion that idly chatters, reacts to tool usage, remembers recent routes in localStorage, grows by category XP, changes visual forms, gives tiny daily missions, and helps users turn tools, Atlas pages, guides, travel checks, live-data dashboards and open-source ideas into practical routes.
1. Guide creature
Click the creature to open quick routes for creator, developer, marketer, privacy, AI, travel, live-data and utility workflows.
2. Growth system
Tool visits and clicks give XP. The dominant XP type changes Skyling into Builder, Creator, Strategist, Guardian, Researcher, Navigator or Helper.
3. Chatter v2.0
Idle comments, sleepy mode, click reactions, tiny wandering, visual evolution parts, open-source route awareness, Growth Patch route awareness, travel/live-data routing, and chatty/quiet/off controls make Skyling feel more alive without external AI.
4. Daily missions
Skyling now gives one small local mission per day so users have a reason to revisit without needing accounts or tracking.
5. Visual evolution
Skyling now changes crest, aura, scarf, tool item, orbit ring, tail style and accessory hints based on dominant XP route and level stage.
6. Travel and live-data navigator
Skyling now recognizes Travel Workspace, Live Data Workspace, Global Signal Watch and the airport-fast travel utility set.
7. Open-source navigator
Skyling can point users to the open-source roadmap and help classify ideas as reference, prototype, dependency, data source, later or avoid.
8. Safe local mode
No external API, no LLM, no account and no tracking. All state is stored only in this browser with localStorage.
Test actions
Use these buttons to simulate tool events without leaving the page.
Skyling now has visual evolution, missions, Growth Patch route guidance, travel checks and live-data awareness.
The companion understands the current portal shape: Growth creator tools, AI fit and cost checks, privacy scanners, campaign utilities, Travel Workspace, Live Data Workspace and the open-source roadmap.
Future upgrade
WebLLM can later power the Talk tab as a local AI chat creature. This v2.0 stays light, lively, English-first and visually evolving while guiding users toward the right current workspace first.
